It was raining hard when we arrived at Pundaquit Zambales. Waves are crashing hard upon the gray shore. It was 6 am, 4 hours after traveling from Manila, and the weather is not welcoming enough.
We waited for the waves and the weather to calm down, but after 2 hours, with confidence and prayers, we took our voyage southward. Amidst the nonstop pouring of rain, enormous waves, and the strong current of the South China Sea, we boarded on three boats. With my hands gripped on the sides of the boat, we passed by the different land and rock formations. Sadly I wasn’t able to take pictures (I only managed to take a short video) of these sceneries due to the strong downpour of the rain, and the strong current pushing us. After 30 minutes of these encounter we managed to drive to Anawangin safely,indeed very wet but the anticipation of the humble and secluded cove is worth the travel.
